Chinese Valentine's Day 七夕情人節：邀約、讚美、表達愛意

The Chinese Valentine’s Day is coming.
Do you know how to express your love to your loved one?  Let’s practices some sentence you can use during the LOVE season.
中國情人節快到了。
你知道要如何對你愛的人表達愛意嗎?
我們來練習一些在這愛的季節裏可以用的句子吧。

【暖身】
Talk to your partner and fine out their answers.
跟同伴練習說話，並找出他們對下面問題的答案。

1. Two things you like about your mate.
　舉出關於伴侶令你喜歡的兩個特質。

2. Do you know any English love song?  
　(Tell them one if you get “No” for an answer.)
　你知道任何英文的情歌嗎?
　(對方不知道就告訴他們一首；可以參考這邊喔!!)

3. When was the last time you give your mate a hug?
　最近一次擁抱你的伴侶是什麼時候?

4. Is your mate your first true love?
　(It’s okay to tell, we’ll keep the secret!)
　你的伴侶是你的初戀嗎?
　(儘管說，我們會幫你保守秘密! ^^)

下面一些單字可以利用在練習裡：

【主題一】 
Do you know how to ask someone out?
Try to fine out the correct way to say it.
你知道如何邀約嗎? 試著找出正確的說法。

A.
Would you like to go have a coffee with me?
Would you like to go drinking coffee with me?
你願意跟我去喝咖啡嗎?

B.
Let’s go see a movie.
Let’s go watch a movie.
我們去看電影吧。

C.
Please go dancing with me.
Please go to dancing with me.

D.
Do you want to go out for dinner?
Do you want to go outside for dinner?
你要出去吃晚餐嗎?

E.
Are you interested going to a concert?
Are you interested attending to a concert?
Are you interested go hear a concert?
你有興趣去聽音樂會嗎?

【正確答案】
A. Would you like to go have a (cup of) coffee with me?
B. Let’s go see a movie. / Let’s go watch a movie. 
(兩句都對，See a movie 是去電影院看，Watch a movie 是在電視、電腦上看。)

【補充說明】
不可以說 Let's go to see a movie.  Go to 後面要加地點。
那你會說：可是這邊有兩個動詞 "go" 跟 "see" 怎麼辦? 
這是因為原本有一個 and 在口語的時候常被省略了：Let's go (and) see a movie.  
如果你真的很介意這兩個動詞黏在一起，你還可以用另外的說法：
1. Let's go to the movies.  這是把 the movies (一定要加 S)當成電影院(地點)來用；
2. Let's go to a movie.  這是把 a movie 當作做了一件事來形容(去看一部電影)。

C. Please go dancing with me.
D. Do you want to go out for dinner?
E. Are you interested going to a concert? 和 
　Are you interested attending to a concert? 這兩句是對的。
　(concert 是音樂會；attending 是參加的意思。)

◎ Now, create your own sentence to invite someone go out with you.

【主題二】 
Try to come up with a different ways to compliment others.
經過上面的練習以後，再試著練習給予讚美的話~
下面一些例句可參考：

You are very nice to do this.
你很貼心、很好...(的做了什麼)。

You are so sexy.
妳很性感。

No one can do better than you.
沒有人能做得比你好。

You are the most honest and patient person I have ever met.

【主題三】 
If you are too shy to say “I love you”, 
what else can you say?

如果你不好意思直接說我愛你，可以說哪些代替?

I love you more than I can say.
愛你在心口難開。

You are my sunshine.
你是我的陽光。

I’ll always by your side.
我會永遠陪在你身邊。

Thank you for being there for me.
感謝你一直支持我。

You were so sweet to help me.
你真是貼心的幫了我。

I love you just the way you are!
我就是愛你本來的樣子。

I am so happy that I married you.
我很開心我 嫁給了你/娶了妳。
